This is a standard sleep scale which places mattresses with optimal support for most sleepers between 6-8. Individually-wrapped coils are not directly connected to each other; therefore, when pressure is placed on one coil, it will not drag others down with it. This reduces motion transfer so you'll barely notice movement from your sleeping partner. The memory foam and foam layers contour your body and offers a comfortable softer feel. The individually-wrapped coils help promote breathability and temperature regulation for cool comfort.
Our 7-layer hybrid mattress fuses the springy support of individually-wrapped coils with the plush comfort of gel memory foam. Experience out-of-this-world comfort, with the best of both worlds. Two one inch layers of special gel-infused Memory Foam absorbs and dissipates body heat as fresh air passes through the foam.
Support
Three rows of higher-gauge coils are used for the perimeter to help bolster the edge of the mattress when you put weight on it. This structure also helps reduce rolling off of the mattress and therefore increases the usable sleeping surface. The third layer of soft foam cushions the body in its most sensitive areas, like pressure points. The foam helps contour to provide support where you need it, and comfort where you want it. A 1 inch layer of support foam provides resistance against your body as you lay down. It also prevents you from feeling the coil unit below. Individually-wrapped coils create a supportive surface that flexes to conform to individual curves and contours of the body.
The core of the GhostBed Flex features the patented Ghost Flex innerspring coil unit with our Spirited Edge™ Support design. Individual 8.5" coils create the weightless feeling you love, while wrapping them individually creates minimal motion transfer. Plus, two rows of specially reinforced coils along the edge of the bed make it easy to sit comfortably without slipping off. One inch of Ghost Flex Soft Transition Foam offers pure pressure relief. This layer of soft transition foam contours to your body and reduces the need to toss and turn. Individual coils offer the responsive support of traditional innerspring mattresses, without the worry of wearing out after just a few months. Additionally, the coils near the edge of GhostBed Flex are specially reinforced for better support - so you can sit on the edge of your bed without sliding off.
