The Koala Calm As mattress has a double-sided comfort layer that you access by unzipping the cover, and flip this layer over. You can choose between medium-firm support and firmer support. Koala recommend trying the medium-firm default side first. The Calm As mattress is the firmest, the Koala in the middle, and the Soul Mate is not quite as firm. The same order applies when using the softer side.

Known around our neck of the woods as StayPut Edge Support, but all you need to know about our super stable edges is that the chances of anyone sliding off the bed are slim to none.
Dynamic Edge Support - Made of firmer high tensile steel springs, the edge support surrounds the mattress and allows full use of the total surface and for sleeper to lie up to the edge without roll-off.
