It began as a single foam mattress brand and has since expanded into a full home and sleeping solutions brand. The company originated in Italy and has successfully established its presence in over 30 countries worldwide. The unique Octaspring® Technology is the cornerstone of Dormeo's product range, setting it apart in the sleep products market.

Dormeo mattresses are manufactured in Italy. Before they are shipped, all Dormeo memory foam mattresses are vacuum packed and rolled for easy transport and setup.

Indeed, the Nectar mattress is generally well-suited for heavy side sleepers. Its top layer, composed of gel memory foam, is designed to relieve pressure, particularly around the shoulders and hips. This feature caters to the needs of average to heavy side sleepers by offering enhanced support and comfort.

Yes, the Nectar mattress can be beneficial for individuals with back pain, particularly those of average weight. Its design provides effective pressure relief that can alleviate discomfort in areas such as the hips, shoulders, or back. However, heavier individuals who sleep on their back or stomach might sink too much into the mattress, potentially affecting ergonomic alignment. So, individual comfort and weight should be considered when choosing this mattress for back pain relief.

The lifespan of a Nectar mattress, which is a 25cm thick all-foam memory foam bed, is typically around nine years, given proper care and maintenance. This includes rotating the mattress every three to six months and ensuring the bedding is kept clean. Therefore, with appropriate usage and care, you can expect a Nectar mattress to provide comfort and support for close to a decade.
