| Comfort | In this day and age hygiene has never been so important. Bamboo and Charcoal come with natural antibacterial properties along with our removable covers (dry clean only) to ensure maximum cleanliness throughout the life of your mattress. With the added charcoal it will also further help regulate temperature in addition to our advanced technology from the original hybrid mattress airflow system already in place. Used as an ingredient in deodorants the charcoal is also excellent at eliminating odours. | Featuring patented Airgocell foam and a layer of pocket springs. This winning combination prevents heat from getting trapped and allows moisture to be wicked away. For cooler, healthier sleep. The Airgocell® foam provides you with ideal comfort thanks to exceptional point-elasticity that allows one area to compress without affecting the rest of the mattress. In addition, Emma's open-pored highly breathable material won't make you sweat. The pocket spring layer aids in air circulation for cool and comfortable sleep. |
| Support | Our Pure Hybrid mattress contains 64% spring to 36% foam, we know the OTTY will give you the best support and comfort, helping those with ailments or health issues. Our 16cm pocket springs help to provide maximum airflow, dissipating excess heat and regulating your temperature. This eliminates the likelihood of overheating, which is common with traditional memory foam products. The top layer combines temperature regulating memory foam, keeping you at the optimum temperature in the depths of winter or on a sultry summer night. | The combination of British foams with pocket springs offers your body full support. Perfect for all sleepers alike, your spine will always stay perfectly aligned and your shoulder and hips optimally supported. A layer of pocket springs mold to your body to offer improved body support. Distributing pressure evenly across the mattress, the memory foam layer adapts to any sleeping position to keep your spine aligned. The zoned cold foam layer, made with cut-out technology, provides support in the areas you need it most and improves the durability of the mattress. |

FAQs
OTTY Pure Hybrid
Is the OTTY Pure Hybrid eco-friendly?
The OTTY Pure Hybrid mattress, with bamboo and activated charcoal, offers potential eco-friendly benefits. Bamboo, a sustainable resource, makes the mattress breathable, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating. Activated charcoal, also sustainable, provides odour-elimination and hypoallergenic benefits. However, a product's overall eco-friendliness depends on its entire lifecycle, from sourcing to disposal.
Do Otty remove the old mattress?
Yes, Otty offers the option for room of choice delivery, old mattress removal, and unpacking and packaging removal services. These additional services can be selected at checkout when placing an order. It's worth noting that availability may vary depending on your location and specific order details.
Where are Otty mattresses made?
Otty mattresses are manufactured in China. Despite being a UK-based company, Otty sources their mattress production from China. Similar to other hybrid mattresses.
Emma Hybrid
Is Emma Hybrid any good?
The Emma Hybrid mattress is widely appreciated for its combination of comfort and support, utilizing both foam layers and pocket springs. However, similar to other bed-in-a-box options, it may feel warmer than traditional mattresses with natural fillings. Despite this, its overall comfort and performance are generally positively reviewed. Keep in mind, personal comfort preferences can vary significantly.
Is Emma Hybrid good for back pain?
The Emma Hybrid mattress combines memory foam and pocket springs, aiming to provide a balance of comfort and support, potentially beneficial for back pain sufferers. However, for enhanced support, the Emma Premium Mattress, with its tall springs and memory foam, is recommended. It offers firm support but ensures comfort for restful sleep. As comfort and pain relief can be highly personal, it's advised to test mattresses or use trial periods.
Why is Emma mattress so hot?
Emma mattresses can feel warmer due to their use of synthetic foams, including memory foam, which are known to retain heat. The viscoelastic properties of memory foam allow it to adjust to body heat and pressure, providing comfort and support. However, this can also lead to heat buildup, making the mattress feel warmer. This aspect might be important to consider if you prefer a cooler sleep environment.
