| Comfort | In this day and age hygiene has never been so important. Bamboo and Charcoal come with natural antibacterial properties along with our removable covers (dry clean only) to ensure maximum cleanliness throughout the life of your mattress. With the added charcoal it will also further help regulate temperature in addition to our advanced technology from the original hybrid mattress airflow system already in place. Used as an ingredient in deodorants the charcoal is also excellent at eliminating odours. | Added springs and layers provide a plusher, more luxurious feel, even better heat regulation and ultimately an even more comfy night's sleep. Meaning there's now a Simba for a wider range of needs and budgets. An even thicker knitted cover increases the comfort without compromising airflow. Wool is naturally temperature regulating and moisture wicking and a dream for hot sleepers. Whatever the season you can rest cool and rest easy. Open cell Simbatex foam is infused with graphite for enhanced cooling. The conical design of the springs means they are cone-shaped and allow for greater airflow between the springs. |
| Support | Our Pure Hybrid mattress contains 64% spring to 36% foam, we know the OTTY will give you the best support and comfort, helping those with ailments or health issues. Our 16cm pocket springs help to provide maximum airflow, dissipating excess heat and regulating your temperature. This eliminates the likelihood of overheating, which is common with traditional memory foam products. The top layer combines temperature regulating memory foam, keeping you at the optimum temperature in the depths of winter or on a sultry summer night. | More miQro® springs mean greater airflow and better body weight distribution. Plush, lush, gravity-defying comfort. Up to 2,500 additional miQro® springs mean greater airflow and better body weight distribution. These 25mm conical pocket miQro springs are made with 100% British steel, manufactured in Leeds and are enclosed in a 100% polyester pocket. High definition foam with edge support means you won't get that feeling of rolling or falling off the bed when sleeping or sitting on the border. A zoned support base provides different levels of support to different areas of your body to reduce pressure points. |

FAQs
OTTY Pure Hybrid
Is the OTTY Pure Hybrid eco-friendly?
The OTTY Pure Hybrid mattress, with bamboo and activated charcoal, offers potential eco-friendly benefits. Bamboo, a sustainable resource, makes the mattress breathable, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating. Activated charcoal, also sustainable, provides odour-elimination and hypoallergenic benefits. However, a product's overall eco-friendliness depends on its entire lifecycle, from sourcing to disposal.
Do Otty remove the old mattress?
Yes, Otty offers the option for room of choice delivery, old mattress removal, and unpacking and packaging removal services. These additional services can be selected at checkout when placing an order. It's worth noting that availability may vary depending on your location and specific order details.
Where are Otty mattresses made?
Otty mattresses are manufactured in China. Despite being a UK-based company, Otty sources their mattress production from China. Similar to other hybrid mattresses.
Simba Hybrid Pro
Is the Simba hybrid Pro best for heavy people?
The Simba Hybrid Pro is considered the best overall hybrid mattress for heavy people according to a 2023 ranking. Simba does specify weight limits for its mattresses, with the 10-year warranty covering a maximum weight of 114kg per sleeper for all of its adult hybrid mattresses. Thus, for individuals within this weight range, the Simba Hybrid Pro offers ample support and comfort, making it an excellent choice.
Is the Simba Hybrid Pro worth the extra money?
While the Simba Hybrid Pro is indeed among the more expensive bed-in-a-box options in the UK, its high quality and unique features can justify the cost for many customers. Compared to other premium mattresses like the DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid, it may cost more, but the superior comfort, support, and advanced technology found in the Simba Hybrid Pro make it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a premium sleep experience.
How thick is Simba Hybrid Pro?
The Simba Hybrid Pro is 280mm thick, making it 30mm thicker than the regular Simba Hybrid mattress. This extra thickness comes from two additional layers in its construction. Despite its greater thickness, most standard fitted sheets should still accommodate the Simba Hybrid Pro mattress comfortably.
