Cover	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.	Organic cotton is the purest form of cotton and a healthier alternative to synthetic fabrics and foams. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for our mattresses, and we buy directly from USDA-certified sources. This increases purity, organic reliability, and support for U.S. farmers. The surface fabric is soft to the touch and easily stretches to conform to your body.

Comfort	Wool does what other materials can not - it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It's also naturally anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control (to complement our natural latex). Our Joma New Zealand Wool's quality is some of the best in the world.	Wool wicks away moisture, provides natural fire protection, and offers temperature regulation, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the Labor Day. It has a natural crimp that gives it bounce, body, and soft support characteristics. Many of these benefits are due to its complex physiochemical structure, which cannot be artificially manufactured. Organic wool facilitates healthy, well-treated sheep and the elimination of harmful chemicals in the processing of the wool. The PLA comfort layer adds resiliency and improved moisture wicking for a more comfortable night's sleep. PLA is a plant-based material used in a variety of industries, including food packaging and medical supplies. Our PLA is made from non-GMO plant starch and does not contain or off-gas harmful chemicals.
Support	The Avocado Green Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% natural Dunlop latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources; OEKO-TEK Standard 100 certified natural New Zealand wool; and GOTS certified organic cotton. Our non-toxic green bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. We even make a new Vegan Mattress made without wool. The Avocado Green Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 3 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. Better still, the reinforced perimeter provides critical edge support to eliminate the "roll-off" feeling near the edge.	The Chorus features a layer of microcoils over premium encased coils for a comfortable design that keeps you cool and relieves pressure points, so you'll be dreaming in no time. Our high-density microcoils are individually wrapped for full-body-contouring comfort in a lightweight yet durable polyester fabric. They resist body impressions while providing comfortable pressure point relief. They also improve breathability and heat dissipation for cool and comfortable sleep. Our exclusive construction completely avoids the use of glues and adhesives. The larger coils in the Chorus are also individually wrapped in GOTS-approved polyester fabric for full-body-contouring comfort. This method ensures isolation of movement while promoting balanced support for proper postural alignment. Encased coils provide just the right amount of bounce while adding excellent breathability and heat dissipation characteristics compared to memory foam and even all-latex mattresses.
