For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.
Quilted Cool Cover A breathable poly-blend cover featuring heat-wicking, cooling technology. The cover will provide a cool-to-the-touch or cooling sensation upon direct contact this is because the polyethylene fibers help to quickly disperse or wick away any superficial heat transferred to it through touch. A Shift-Resistant Lower Cover keeps your mattress in place and the layers inside in place.

We even make a new Vegan Mattress made without wool. The Avocado Green Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 3 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. The mattress is compressed, vacuum sealed and rolled into a box that is 45" x 20.5" x 20.5". We recommend that two people set up your Bear Hybrid mattress.
