Cover	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.	The Birch Mattress has a cover that is made using natural, organic cotton. It is designed to be highly breathable with a subtle stretch and soft touch.

Comfort	Rather than using wool, our Vegan Mattress uses 400 grams per square foot of 100% GOTS organic certified certified cotton batting. Avocado mattresses feature 100% GOLS organic certified latex rubber foam, made from sustainably harvested sources. It's an eco-conscious, high-performance material, offering resilience, durability, and temperature control that far exceeds synthetic, blended or petroleum-based polyurethane foams	Our materials come from nature - whether it be wool sustainably sheared from New Zealand sheep or latex tapped from trees. These premium materials are comfortable on your body and conscience. 100% all natural & organic Birch Wool provides unparalleled comfort and temperature regulation. Birch Wool is designed to retain shape with a natural elasticity of each fiber. Talalay latex is up to 7 times more breathable than other types of latex. Natural latex is also hypoallergenic and anti-microbial.
Support	The Avocado Vegan Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% GOLS organic certified latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources and GOTS organic certified cotton. Our non-toxic vegan bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. No wool is used anywhere in the mattress. The Avocado Vegan Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 5 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. Better still, the reinforced perimeter provides critical edge support to eliminate the "roll-off" feeling near the edge.	We spent countless hours finding the right density of latex, quantity of wool, and type of steel springs to provide unprecedented comfort and pressure relief. Each mattress features a reinforced perimeter for best in class edge support. The coils that run along the outside of your mattress are actually firmer, so no more feeling of falling off the bed when lying down or sitting on the edge. Natural Talalay latex provides response to cushion your pressure points while giving support. Our latex is carefully managed to ensure consistency. Hundreds of individual steel coils help to cradle your body and provide support, while also limiting motion transfer. Additionally, the reinforced perimeter coils provide best in class edge support.
