| Cover | For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package. | Featuring the same cover used in other GhostBed models, the cover contains a proprietary formulation developed in Japan where cooling properties are woven directly into the fibers of the yarn, creating the Ghost Ice Fabric. The Ghost Ice Fabric is instantly cool to the touch, and will absorb and trap heat that is released by the body. Molecular changes in the fabric will neutralize the heat, keeping the sleeping surface cool. |

| Comfort | Rather than using wool, our Vegan Mattress uses 400 grams per square foot of 100% GOTS organic certified certified cotton batting. Avocado mattresses feature 100% GOLS organic certified latex rubber foam, made from sustainably harvested sources. It's an eco-conscious, high-performance material, offering resilience, durability, and temperature control that far exceeds synthetic, blended or petroleum-based polyurethane foams | 3D Matrix Polymer Layer offers 3 dimensions of comfort:The 3D Matrix layer is an integrated thermal conductive gel polymer. As excess heat accumulates under and around the sleeper, it is absorbed into 3D Matrix layer. As a fully connected sheet, that absorbed heat travels away from the sleeper. Conventional Foam layers comfort you by compressing as different parts of the body "press" on the foam. The 3D Matrix layer is an omni directional layer which stretches in all directions to mold and contour to each individual part of the sleeper's body. The 3D Matrix layer is ergonomically designed which allows the sleeper to sleep on the mattress, NOT in it. The GhostBed 3D Matrix Mattress features the exciting new 3D Matrix technology. This new comfort layer technology is revolutionary because it automatically bio-adjusts to two different body shapes and body temperatures at the same time, creating the ideal sleeping environment for both sleepers. The 3D Matrix layer automatically bio-adjusts to both sleep partners through simultaneous heat diffusion and weight distribution - two critical elements in sound sleep. The 3D Matrix allows excess heat is drawn away from the body. The Gel Polymer layer stretches in all directions conforming to the body without causing it to sink into the mattress. Gel-infused Memory Foam absorbs and dissipates body heat as fresh air passes through the foam. |
| Support | The Avocado Vegan Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% GOLS organic certified latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources and GOTS organic certified cotton. Our non-toxic vegan bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. No wool is used anywhere in the mattress. The Avocado Vegan Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 5 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. Better still, the reinforced perimeter provides critical edge support to eliminate the "roll-off" feeling near the edge. | The core of the GhostBed 3D Matrix features the patented Ghost 3D Matrix innerspring coil unit with our Spirited Edgeย support Design. With two rows of specially reinforced coils along the edge of the bed make it easier to sit comfortably without slipping off the edge plus you can sleep right on the edge without feeling like you'll fall off. The 3D Matrix ensures body weight is distributed evenly, relieving pressure and reducing the body's need to reposition itself, allowing each sleeper to wake up well rested, free of aches and pains, and energized to embrace the coming day. Ghost 3D Matrix Soft Transition Foam is one inch of pure pressure relief. This layer contours to your body and reduces the need to toss and turn. Individually wrapped coils provide that sturdy, responsive support of traditional innerspring mattresses you're used to. |
