Firmness info	Exceptional sleep is not one size fits all. The Brooklyn Aurora is designed with three comfort levels, for a sleep experience that feels crafted just for you. The Soft is rated a 3 on the firmness scale, the Medium is rated a 5 and the Firm is rated an 7.	Many mattress companies will try to sell you a one-size-fits-all mattress, but we know from 40+ years of experience that your comfort preference is likely to change over time. That's why we developed a flippable mattress that is firm on one side and medium on the other. We have found that 95% of our customers prefer either a firm or medium feel. Maybe you don't know which you prefer or maybe right now you really like a firm mattress, but as you age will need a softer mattress to alleviate joint pressure. The Roma easily accommodates your change in firmness needs with a simple flip.

Construction & materials

Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid	Sleep EZ Roma Latex
Layers	Copper Gel Energex with TitanCool, TitanFlex, Swirl Visco-Elastic Memory Foam, Quantum Edge Pocketed Coils, High Density Base Support Foam.	0.75" Comfort Foam, 1.5" Channel-Quilted Organic Cotton Cover, 3" Layer of Firm 100% Natural Dunlop Latex, 3" Layer of Medium 100% Natural Dunlop Latex
Cover	The most advanced fabric on the market delivers TitanCool benefits on contact.	The Roma comfort cover is made from organic cotton, quilted to a CertiPUR-US® certified foam carefully chosen to produce an enveloping, yet supportive, feel. The use of organic cotton for your mattress cover has many benefits. Since it is farmed without chemicals, it may cause fewer allergies and reduce respiratory problems. Organic cotton also does not produce any odors that might be unpleasant to breathe in while you sleep. With just a sheet between you and your mattress, why choose anything but organic?
Machine-washable cover	No	No
Ergonomic handles	No	No
Comfort	The immediate response technology in our patented, hyper-elastic TitanFlex foam ensures ultimate comfort for every sleep position by adjusting to your body each time you move. Our advanced TitanCool technology keeps you cool in two ways: a phase change surface infusion and advanced conductivity properties draws excess heat away from the body, while a proprietary smooth top weave provides enhanced cooling on contact. An added infusion of copper and TitaniumGel enhances cooling while maintaining an anti-bacterial sleeping environment.	Sleeping with a partner? On a latex mattress, you won't have to worry about feeling your partner toss and turn as it dampens motion transfer. You'll sleep cooler on latex thanks to its open cell structure that promotes airflow.
Support	Engineered with up to 1,283 individually pocketed coils for better reactivity, the Brooklyn Aurora provides exceptional pressure point relief with motion isolation for minimized sleep disturbance, promising deeper and more restful sleep. A transition layer with the contouring properties of memory foam provides deep compression support, especially important to heavy sleepers.	Quilting of your mattress cover provides extra comfort and plush feeling. The Roma is quilted into channels and finishes at 1.5 inches deep on each mattress side, ensuring maximum comfort on both sides. The extra height and texture of the quilting helps your sheets stay in place and provides a touch extra support to relieve pressure points and compliments the 100% natural latex below. Because of latex's superior support properties, it helps you achieve a neutral spine position while sleeping, helping you avoid aches and pains in the morning. Latex gently cradles your body without giving you that stuck in one place feeling that memory foam gives you thanks to its superior rebound properties.

FAQs

Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid

Can you flip the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid mattress?

No, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Hybrid mattress is not designed to be flipped. If you flip it, you would be sleeping on the hard coil layer instead of the comfort layers. If you're looking for a flippable mattress from Brooklyn Bedding, consider the Plank Hybrid.

Are Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe beds any good?

Yes, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe is a high-quality hybrid mattress designed to sleep cool. It's particularly suitable for back sleepers, hot sleepers, and those who prefer a feeling of sleeping "on top" of the mattress. However, whether it's the right mattress for you depends on your individual preferences and needs.

What cooling features are available in the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid?

The Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid is equipped with advanced cooling features. It uses GlacioTex™, a cutting-edge fabric that provides cooling benefits on contact. The mattress is designed to maintain an ideal skin temperature of 88 degrees for sleep, compared to the average skin temperature of 91 degrees. It contains cooling gel beads that liquefy at higher temperatures to provide relief and solidify at lower temperatures to maintain an optimal sleep environment. The mattress also incorporates copper, a highly conductive material that naturally draws heat away from the body. Additionally, cooling gel treatments are present in the comfort foam layer and the tertiary memory foam layer, making it one of the most advanced cooling mattresses on the market.

How do I know which side is facing up?

There is a tag on the head or foot of the bed that says “medium.” If that tag is facing up then the medium side is facing up, if that tag is facing down then the medium side is facing down. Also, if the lettering “ROMA” is read correctly, this means the medium side is on top.

How much edge support does the mattress have?

The mattresses have more edge support than memory foam but less edge support than a spring mattress.

How do returns work for the Roma?

There is a 90-day return period with a $99 return fee. You are asked to donate the mattress to a local charity and mail the donation receipt. The free pillows would be yours to keep as a thank you for ordering with Sleep EZ.
