The SleepOvation mattress is meant to relieve back-pain and correct your sleeping posture, it does feel on the firmer side but not because the mattress itself is firm - but because it's correcting your spine. The cover is not removable.	Our stretch knit polyester and elastane cover is designed to complement the "tiny mattresses" ability to adjust to personal weight and size. More specifically, we've integrated a quilted, internal (FR) mattress pad that offers a more plush level of comfort. This structure also helps reduce rolling off of the mattress and therefore increases the usable sleeping surface. The third layer of soft foam cushions the body in its most sensitive areas, like pressure points. The foam helps contour to provide support where you need it, and comfort where you want it. A 1 inch layer of support foam provides resistance against your body as you lay down. It also prevents you from feeling the coil unit below.
