Firmness info	Emma smoothly combines high-quality materials to create a dream-like mattress that conforms to every body type. Rated a 5/10 on the firmness scale. They worked long and hard to find the perfect composition for our Emma mattress and have found the optimum balance between support and comfort. Decide for yourself with a risk-free 365 day sleep trial.	Many mattress companies will try to sell you a one-size-fits-all mattress, but we know from 40+ years of experience that your comfort preference is likely to change over time. That's why we developed a flippable mattress that is firm on one side and medium on the other. We have found that 95% of our customers prefer either a firm or medium feel. Maybe you don't know which you prefer or maybe right now you really like a firm mattress, but as you age will need a softer mattress to alleviate joint pressure. The Roma easily accommodates your change in firmness needs with a simple flip.

Layers	Airgocell® Foam, Visco-elastic Memory Foam, Cold Foam.	0.75" Comfort Foam, 1.5" Channel-Quilted Organic Cotton Cover, 3" Layer of Firm 100% Natural Dunlop Latex, 3" Layer of Medium 100% Natural Dunlop Latex
Cover	The breathable Emma cover combines a premium design with climate regulating fibers which allow the mattress to breathe and not retain heat like other mattresses do. At the same time, the cover is flexible allowing the mattress to adapt perfectly to your body. This removable and washable top cover is made of 99% polyester and 1% elastane. The side cover is made of 100% polyester. The bottom cover is made of 89% polyester and 11% polypropylene.	The Roma comfort cover is made from organic cotton, quilted to a CertiPUR-US® certified foam carefully chosen to produce an enveloping, yet supportive, feel. The use of organic cotton for your mattress cover has many benefits. Since it is farmed without chemicals, it may cause fewer allergies and reduce respiratory problems. Organic cotton also does not produce any odors that might be unpleasant to breathe in while you sleep. With just a sheet between you and your mattress, why choose anything but organic?

Comfort	The maximum amount of adaptability through our special German technology, and expertly developed foam. This allows airflow through the foam, allowing you to stay cool at night and sleep soundly. The top layer of breathable and adaptable Airgocell® foam ensures optimized adaptability. In addition to this, Airgocell® foam has an open pore structure for ideal air circulation adding to the Emma Mattress' climate regulating design. The grey side cover with 3D-mesh supports air circulation.	Sleeping with a partner? On a latex mattress, you won't have to worry about feeling your partner toss and turn as it dampens motion transfer. You'll sleep cooler on latex thanks to its open cell structure that promotes airflow.
Support	The mattress perfectly aligns your spine, no matter what position you are sleeping in, to give you a better and healthier night's sleep. A middle layer of adaptive memory foam ensures an improved distribution of support, pressure relief and spine support and alignment. The cold foam firm bottom layer provides the necessary counter pressure whatever your sleeping position. Here we have added our innovative German Cut-out Technology which helps to align your spine giving you a healthier night's sleep. This technology gives you support in your lower back and shoulder areas while also helping the Emma Mattress to adapt to you.	Quilting of your mattress cover provides extra comfort and plush feeling. The Roma is quilted into channels and finishes at 1.5 inches deep on each mattress side, ensuring maximum comfort on both sides. The extra height and texture of the quilting helps your sheets stay in place and provides a touch extra support to relieve pressure points and compliments the 100% natural latex below. Because of latex's superior support properties, it helps you achieve a neutral spine position while sleeping, helping you avoid aches and pains in the morning. Latex gently cradles your body without giving you that stuck in one place feeling that memory foam gives you thanks to its superior rebound properties.

FAQs

Emma

Is the Emma Sleep mattress a good investment?

The Emma Sleep mattress is an excellent choice, particularly for those who sleep on their backs. Despite being an all-foam mattress, it offers a perfect blend of comfort and support that back sleepers require. It also provides adequate support for stomach sleepers, which is quite an achievement for an all-foam mattress.

What makes the Emma Mattress unique?

The Emma Original is made with Visco Memory foam, which perfectly conforms to your body shape, providing relief to sensitive pressure points and ensuring spinal alignment. The mattress also has a high-resilience extra foam layer at the bottom that offers additional back support as you sleep.

Why does the Emma mattress feel warm?

The warmth you experience with the Emma mattress is due to its construction from synthetic foam, including memory foam. These materials are known for their heat retention properties. Vasco elastic foams like memory foam respond to, retain, and build up heat to function effectively.

How do I know which side is facing up?

There is a tag on the head or foot of the bed that says “medium.” If that tag is facing up then the medium side is facing up, if that tag is facing down then the medium side is facing down. Also, if the lettering “ROMA” is read correctly, this means the medium side is on top.

How much edge support does the mattress have?

The mattresses have more edge support than memory foam but less edge support than a spring mattress.

How do returns work for the Roma?

There is a 90-day return period with a $99 return fee. You are asked to donate the mattress to a local charity and mail the donation receipt. The free pillows would be yours to keep as a thank you for ordering with Sleep EZ.
