Cooling Yarn Cover. Apollo's cover is created with the latest in super yarns that literally feel cold to the touch. It makes the entire sleep surface feel as fresh and relaxing as the cool side of the pillow. Micro-Coils. Tucked into the middle of the Apollo, this full layer of breathable micro-coils creates a central channel that guides warm air out and away from your mattress, reducing heat retention. | Douglas' CoolSense™ cover and ecoLight™ cooling gel foam layer absorb more heat with faster dissipation, giving you a cooler sleep. Moisture-wicking CoolSense™ cover. Breathable ecoLight™ cooling gel foam. Fast infrared heat dissipation. Premium Elastex™ Foam. As durable, supportive, and responsive as natural Latex foam, Elastex™ is made without any of the harmful, allergy-causing chemicals found in many Latex mattresses. |
| Support | 360-Degree Edge Support. Strong, supportive sidewalls make it easier for you to sleep near the edge of the bed without worrying about sinking down or sliding off. That's why Apollo uses high-density, reinforced foam along each side of the mattress. Breathable, high-performance foam known for providing exceptional pressure-point relief. Adaptive steel micro-coils contour to every inch of your body. Two load-bearing base layers with precise compression scores unlock Apollo's incredible potential for motion isolation and head-to-toe support. | Premium AirScape™ foam conforms to your body to relieve pressure. Gel pods under the waist and lower back add support and help keep your spine perfectly aligned in any position. Zoned Support™ Max reinforces the layer of memory foam above with continuous support zones to provide full-body relief and ease aches and pains. Fabric-wrapped springs provide active support and a little lift. |

How often should I rotate my mattress?
It is recommended to rotate mattresses every 4 to 6 months. This is particularly important if there is a significant weight difference between the people using the bed. Rotating a mattress involves turning it 180 degrees, effectively making the foot of the bed the head, and vice versa. This allows the mattress surface to recover from prolonged body indentations, contributing to its longevity.
Is the Douglas mattress good for back pain?
Yes, the Douglas mattress, with its medium-firm feel, is often recommended for individuals experiencing back pain. This firmness level aids in maintaining proper spinal alignment.
Is the Douglas mattress hot?
The Douglas mattress uses Tencel fabric in its cover to draw moisture away from the body, aiding in cooling. However, individuals who are prone to overheating may still find it too warm.
