Experience out-of-this-world comfort, with the best of both worlds. Two one inch layers of special gel-infused Memory Foam absorbs and dissipates body heat as fresh air passes through the foam.	Douglas' CoolSense™ cover and ecoLight™ cooling gel foam layer absorb more heat with faster dissipation, giving you a cooler sleep. Moisture-wicking CoolSense™ cover. Breathable ecoLight™ cooling gel foam. Fast infrared heat dissipation. The comfort layer of Luxury ecoLight™ Cooling Gel Foam is made with a 50% smaller carbon footprint, ecoLight™ cooling gel foam is just as durable, responsive, and luxurious as high density memory foam, but won't retain heat or feel like quicksand. Premium Elastex™ Foam. As durable, supportive, and responsive as natural Latex foam, Elastex™ is made without any of the harmful, allergy-causing chemicals found in many Latex mattresses.
Support	The core of the GhostBed Flex features the patented Ghost Flex innerspring coil unit with our Spirited Edge Support design. Individual 8.5" coils create the weightless feeling you love, while wrapping them individually creates minimal motion transfer. Plus, two rows of specially reinforced coils along the edge of the bed make it easy to sit comfortably without slipping off. One inch of Ghost Flex Soft Transition Foam offers pure pressure relief. This layer of soft transition foam contours to your body and reduces the need to toss and turn. Individual coils offer the responsive support of traditional innerspring mattresses, without the worry of wearing out after just a few months. Additionally, the coils near the edge of GhostBed Flex are specially reinforced for better support - so you can sit on the edge of your bed without sliding off.	Premium AirScape™ foam conforms to your body to relieve pressure. Memory foam with 3 areas of Zoned Support™ help align your spine and relieve pressure. Softer under shoulders and firmer around the hips, waist and lower back. Gel pods under the waist and lower back add support and help keep your spine perfectly aligned in any position. Zoned Support™ Max reinforces the layer of memory foam above with continuous support zones to provide full-body relief and ease aches and pains. Fabric-wrapped springs provide active support and a little lift.

How often should I rotate my mattress?

It is recommended to rotate mattresses every 4 to 6 months. This is particularly important if there is a significant weight difference between the people using the bed. Rotating a mattress involves turning it 180 degrees, effectively making the foot of the bed the head, and vice versa. This allows the mattress surface to recover from prolonged body indentations, contributing to its longevity.

Is the Douglas mattress good for back pain?

Yes, the Douglas mattress, with its medium-firm feel, is often recommended for individuals experiencing back pain. This firmness level aids in maintaining proper spinal alignment.

Is the Douglas mattress hot?

The Douglas mattress uses Tencel fabric in its cover to draw moisture away from the body, aiding in cooling. However, individuals who are prone to overheating may still find it too warm.
