| Comfort | In this day and age hygiene has never been so important. Bamboo and Charcoal come with natural antibacterial properties along with our removable covers (dry clean only) to ensure maximum cleanliness throughout the life of your mattress. With the added charcoal it will also further help regulate temperature in addition to our advanced technology from the original hybrid mattress airflow system already in place. Used as an ingredient in deodorants the charcoal is also excellent at eliminating odours. | We've created a mattress engineered for optimal sleep. Our engineered support base, along with our unique combination of conical pocket springs and memory foam, allows two people with different sleeping patterns and body types to enjoy the perfect night's sleep - without being interrupted by each other. We've developed a super comfort layer of what we like to call 'Simbatex' to give cool, gentle support. |
| Support | Our Pure Hybrid mattress contains 64% spring to 36% foam, we know the OTTY will give you the best support and comfort, helping those with ailments or health issues. Our 16cm pocket springs help to provide maximum airflow, dissipating excess heat and regulating your temperature. This eliminates the likelihood of overheating, which is common with traditional memory foam products. The top layer combines temperature regulating memory foam, keeping you at the optimum temperature in the depths of winter or on a sultry summer night. | The Visco memory foam moulds expertly to your body shape. It's like a mattress tailor made for you. Our perfectly engineered support base has different zones to ensure a perfect night's sleep for all. Our mattress features up to 2,500 unique conical pocket springs. They individually adjust as you sleep, so you wake up with a spring in your step for the whole day. |

FAQs
OTTY Pure Hybrid
Is the OTTY Pure Hybrid eco-friendly?
The OTTY Pure Hybrid mattress, with bamboo and activated charcoal, offers potential eco-friendly benefits. Bamboo, a sustainable resource, makes the mattress breathable, moisture-wicking, and temperature-regulating. Activated charcoal, also sustainable, provides odour-elimination and hypoallergenic benefits. However, a product's overall eco-friendliness depends on its entire lifecycle, from sourcing to disposal.
Do Otty remove the old mattress?
Yes, Otty offers the option for room of choice delivery, old mattress removal, and unpacking and packaging removal services. These additional services can be selected at checkout when placing an order. It's worth noting that availability may vary depending on your location and specific order details.
Where are Otty mattresses made?
Otty mattresses are manufactured in China. Despite being a UK-based company, Otty sources their mattress production from China. Similar to other hybrid mattresses.
Simba Hybrid
What firmness is Simba hybrid?
The Simba Hybrid mattress is described as medium-firm by the company, but it may feel slightly softer to some users. This sensation of sinking into the mattress is mainly due to the memory foam layer, which contours to your body. Despite this, the design ensures you won't feel "trapped" in the top layers. On the firmness scale, this mattress has been rated as 6 out of 10, which means it's on the slightly firmer side of medium, yet still offers a certain level of softness for comfort.
Is Simba good for side sleepers?
Yes, the Simba mattress can be a good choice for side sleepers. The cushioning effect of the memory foam upper layer provides excellent support for pressure points, which is particularly beneficial for side sleepers who need more support in areas like the shoulders and hips. In addition, the hybrid design includes 2500 springs, contributing to a good level of bounce, further enhancing comfort and support.
Do Simba mattresses last?
Yes, Simba mattresses are typically designed to last. Like most hybrid mattresses, Simba mattresses should have a lifespan of around 7 to 10 years (if not longer), depending on the level of care and usage. Given this, it may be worthwhile to consider investing a bit more in a high-quality mattress like Simba for long-term comfort and durability.
