Simba HybridvsNectar Essential Hybrid

The Simba Hybrid mattress is described as medium-firm by the company, but it may feel slightly softer to some users. This sensation of sinking into the mattress is mainly due to the memory foam layer, which contours to your body. Despite this, the design ensures you won't feel "trapped" in the top layers. On the firmness scale, this mattress has been rated as 6 out of 10, which means it's on the slightly firmer side of medium, yet still offers a certain level of softness for comfort.

Yes, the Simba mattress can be a good choice for side sleepers. The cushioning effect of the memory foam upper layer provides excellent support for pressure points, which is particularly beneficial for side sleepers who need more support in areas like the shoulders and hips. In addition, the hybrid design includes 2500 springs, contributing to a good level of bounce, further enhancing comfort and support.

Yes, Simba mattresses are typically designed to last. Like most hybrid mattresses, Simba mattresses should have a lifespan of around 7 to 10 years (if not longer), depending on the level of care and usage. Given this, it may be worthwhile to consider investing a bit more in a high-quality mattress like Simba for long-term comfort and durability.

Yes, despite being a budget model, the Nectar Essential Hybrid mattress also features edge support due to its firm foam layer around the edge. This design ensures uniform and firm support across the entire mattress. Therefore, unlike some spring mattresses that may exhibit sagging at the edges, the Nectar Essential Hybrid provides a consistently firm sleeping surface from edge to edge.
