Cover	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.	Planet-friendly textiles. Up to 121 recycled bottles in each cover

Comfort	Rather than using wool, our Vegan Mattress uses 400 grams per square foot of 100% GOTS organic certified certified cotton batting. Avocado mattresses feature 100% GOLS organic certified latex rubber foam, made from sustainably harvested sources. It's an eco-conscious, high-performance material, offering resilience, durability, and temperature control that far exceeds synthetic, blended or petroleum-based polyurethane foams	A thin coating of cooling gel on a layer of AirScape perforated breathable foam adds a refreshing feel. A second layer of Airscape helps you stay at the perfect temperature all night. Tiny holes let hot air and body heat out so you don't get overheated. A third layer of AirScape helps prevent overheating. Resilient springs add a little lift, support, and airflow to the mattress of your dreams. The most advanced cooling system helps you stay at the perfect temperature all night. Airscape 3 with cooling gel: 3 layers of perforated breathable foam help keep you cool. Air channels allow heat to escape to prevent overheating. Added cooling gel feels refreshing throughout the night.
Support	The Avocado Vegan Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% GOLS organic certified latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources and GOTS organic certified cotton. Our non-toxic vegan bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. No wool is used anywhere in the mattress. The Avocado Vegan Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 5 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. Better still, the reinforced perimeter provides critical edge support to eliminate the "roll-off" feeling near the edge.	Premium foam feels cozy and conforms to your body to relieve pressure. Supportive memory foam has 3 ergonomic zones to help align your spine and provide more relief. Gel pods under the waist and lower back add support and help keep your spine perfectly aligned in any position. Zoned Support Max provides full-body relief and ease aches and pains. A firmer border provides edge support to help you get in and out of bed easily. The most advanced support system designed for less aches and pains. Zoned Support Max: Continuous ergonomic zones for full-body relief. Softer foam around the shoulders provides more relief to the upper body. Healthy spinal alignment for all sleeping positions.
