Construction & materials

	Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid	DreamCloud
Layers	Copper Gel Energex with TitanCool, TitanFlex, Swirl Visco-Elastic Memory Foam, Quantum Edge Pocketed Coils, High Density Base Support Foam.	Quilted Tight Top, 1.5" foam quilted to a Cashmere blend cover (Density: 1.5lb, IFD: 17), 1" Gel-Infused Memory Foam (Density: 2.5lb, IFD: 10), 2.5" Support Foam (Density: 1.7lb, IFD: 20), 8" Individually Wrapped Innerspring Coil System with Edge Support, 1" Firm Support Foam (Density: 1.6lb, IFD: 36).
Cover	The most advanced fabric on the market delivers TitanCool benefits on contact.	The DreamCloud mattress is wrapped in a Cashmere blend cover that is soft-to-the-touch (Made with Polyester, Rayon and Cashmere). The "tight-top" design of quilting the cover with the first foam layer offers added comfort and some loft - but not quite as much as loft as the DreamCloud Premier with the Euro Top. Whilst the cover isn't removable or washable it will keep you cozy and cool thanks to the breathable blend of fabrics.
Machine-washable cover	No	No
Ergonomic handles	No	Yes
Comfort	The immediate response technology in our patented, hyper-elastic TitanFlex foam ensures ultimate comfort for every sleep position by adjusting to your body each time you move. Our advanced TitanCool technology keeps you cool in two ways: a phase change surface infusion and advanced conductivity properties draws excess heat away from the body, while a proprietary smooth top weave provides enhanced cooling on contact. An added infusion of copper and TitaniumGel enhances cooling while maintaining an anti-bacterial sleeping environment.	DreamCloud's stay-put technology means you won't feel a thing when your partner rolls over. Individually wrapped coils mean vibrations don't travel because the coils are not directly connected to each other; therefore, when pressure is placed on one coil, it will not drag others down with it. The supportive foam layer also drastically reduces feeling any movements. Gel-Infused Memory Foam helps you sleep cool. Innerspring coils promote airflow better than all-foam mattresses. The combination of gel foam with the quilted cover helps regulate your temperature.
Support	Engineered with up to 1,283 individually pocketed coils for better reactivity, the Brooklyn Aurora provides exceptional pressure point relief with motion isolation for minimized sleep disturbance, promising deeper and more restful sleep. A transition layer with the contouring properties of memory foam provides deep compression support, especially important to heavy sleepers.	No matter what position you prefer to sleep in, individually wrapped coils adapt to your sleep shape. High-density gel memory foam relieves your pressure points by diagnosing where you need support the most. The foam cradles your shoulders, hips and problem areas by gently contouring to your body. The memory foam layer cushions the body at its most sensitive areas, like the pressure points while offering that much-loved traditional memory foam feel of softness, cushion and relief. The support layer provides resistance against the body and stops you sinking in too far and feeling the coils below. Edge-to-edge innerspring coils create a supportive surface that flexes to conform to individual curves and contours of the body. Three rows of higher-gauge coils are used for the perimeter to increase the edge support and reduce the "rolling off" the edge feeling. The base support layer provides the structure and stability for all the layers above.

FAQs

Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid

Can you flip the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid mattress?

No, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Hybrid mattress is not designed to be flipped. If you flip it, you would be sleeping on the hard coil layer instead of the comfort layers. If you're looking for a flippable mattress from Brooklyn Bedding, consider the Plank Hybrid.

Are Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe beds any good?

Yes, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe is a high-quality hybrid mattress designed to sleep cool. It's particularly suitable for back sleepers, hot sleepers, and those who prefer a feeling of sleeping "on top" of the mattress. However, whether it's the right mattress for you depends on your individual preferences and needs.

What cooling features are available in the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid?

The Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid is equipped with advanced cooling features. It uses GlacioTex™, a cutting-edge fabric that provides cooling benefits on contact. The mattress is designed to maintain an ideal skin temperature of 88 degrees for sleep, compared to the average skin temperature of 91 degrees. It contains cooling gel beads that liquefy at higher temperatures to provide relief and solidify at lower temperatures to maintain an optimal sleep environment. The mattress also incorporates copper, a highly conductive material that naturally draws heat away from the body. Additionally, cooling gel treatments are present in the comfort foam layer and the tertiary memory foam layer, making it one of the most advanced cooling mattresses on the market.

Is DreamCloud a soft or firm mattress?

The DreamCloud is a high-profile model, measuring 14 inches thick, so it may require sheets with deeper pockets than average.

Is DreamCloud good for heavy sleepers?
