Construction & materials

Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid	MyGreenMattress Hope Latex
Layers	Copper Gel Energex with TitanCool, TitanFlex, Swirl Visco-Elastic Memory Foam, Quantum Edge Pocketed Coils, High Density Base Support Foam.	GOTS-Certified Organic Cotton quilted cover, GOTS-Certified Organic wool, 2" GOLS-Certified Dunlop latex (Density: 55, ILD: 15-20), 3" GOLS-Certified Dunlop latex (Density: 70, ILD: 25-30), 3" GOLS-Certified Dunlop latex (Density: 85, ILD: 40).
Cover	The most advanced fabric on the market delivers TitanCool benefits on contact.	A soft organic cotton quilted cover with organic wool sewn in underneath. Both the cotton and wool are GOTS-certified organic. The wool acts as a natural fire barrier which passes all safety requirements without the use of harmful chemical flame retardants.
Machine-washable cover	No	No
Ergonomic handles	No	No
Comfort	The immediate response technology in our patented, hyper-elastic TitanFlex foam ensures ultimate comfort for every sleep position by adjusting to your body each time you move. Our advanced TitanCool technology keeps you cool in two ways: a phase change surface infusion and advanced conductivity properties draws excess heat away from the body, while a proprietary smooth top weave provides enhanced cooling on contact. An added infusion of copper and TitaniumGel enhances cooling while maintaining an anti-bacterial sleeping environment.	The GOTS-certified organic wool batting is sourced from sheep that are allowed to graze freely in organic pastures. The wool acts as the only flame retardant, and is hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, and 100% biodegradable. The breathable and hypoallergenic latex provides a naturally cool sleep that is dust-mite, mold, and mildew resistant.
Support	Engineered with up to 1,283 individually pocketed coils for better reactivity, the Brooklyn Aurora provides exceptional pressure point relief with motion isolation for minimized sleep disturbance, promising deeper and more restful sleep. A transition layer with the contouring properties of memory foam provides deep compression support, especially important to heavy sleepers.	Latex is supportive and alleviates pressure points that can cause stiffness, pain, tossing and turning.

FAQs

Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid

Can you flip the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid mattress?

No, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Hybrid mattress is not designed to be flipped. If you flip it, you would be sleeping on the hard coil layer instead of the comfort layers. If you're looking for a flippable mattress from Brooklyn Bedding, consider the Plank Hybrid.

Are Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe beds any good?

Yes, the Brooklyn Bedding Aurora Luxe is a high-quality hybrid mattress designed to sleep cool. It's particularly suitable for back sleepers, hot sleepers, and those who prefer a feeling of sleeping "on top" of the mattress. However, whether it's the right mattress for you depends on your individual preferences and needs.

What cooling features are available in the Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid?

The Brooklyn Aurora Hybrid is equipped with advanced cooling features. It uses GlacioTex™, a cutting-edge fabric that provides cooling benefits on contact. The mattress is designed to maintain an ideal skin temperature of 88 degrees for sleep, compared to the average skin temperature of 91 degrees. It contains cooling gel beads that liquefy at higher temperatures to provide relief and solidify at lower temperatures to maintain an optimal sleep environment. The mattress also incorporates copper, a highly conductive material that naturally draws heat away from the body. Additionally, cooling gel treatments are present in the comfort foam layer and the tertiary memory foam layer, making it one of the most advanced cooling mattresses on the market.
