Layers	Nectar Smart Layer With ActiveCool HD, Dynamic Support Layer, Stay-Stable Base Layer.	Organic Cotton Ticking, JOMA® New Zealand Wool, Natural Hydrated Silica Fire Barrier, Leggett & Platt Quantum Edge® Elite Combi-Zone®, Soft Natural Dunlop Latex
Cover	Quilted Cool Cover With Copper And Sleep Fabric Tech. Nectar Premier Copper’s cover is woven with copper fibers, known to help whisk away body heat. So you, or you both, or you all crawl out of bed every morning like a snoozed up bear ready for spring.	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.

Comfort	Nectar Premier Copper delivers dream-state comfort with an extra inch of foam. So you doze off dreamily on a taller, denser sleep surface. With such minimal motion transfer, you can do a little happy dance without waking your partner. Phase-changing material dynamically adapts to your sleep temp, while 4 inches of cushy, pressure-relieving gel memory foam cuddles every curve and joint. So you zonk out in a temperature-responsive oasis.	Wool does what other materials can not - it wicks away moisture, stays fresh, and acts as a natural fire barrier. It's also naturally anti-microbial, resistant to dust mites, and offers natural temperature control (to complement our natural latex). Our Joma New Zealand Wool's quality is some of the best in the world.
Support	Stay-Stable Base Layer. This sturdy 9-inch bottom layer of foam ensures the comfort and support layers above it perform at their tip-top best. Mo’ base, mo’ support. Get ultimate relief at the pressure points beneath your shoulders, hips and legs for proper spinal alignment. A taller base gives Nectar Premier Copper’s support layer what it needs to deliver your ultimate relief. Because truly relaxed muscles are the key to deeper dreaming.	The Avocado Green Mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified - and made with natural and organic materials, including 100% natural Dunlop latex from tree-tapped and sustainable sources; OEKO-TEK Standard 100 certified natural New Zealand wool; and GOTS certified organic cotton. Our non-toxic green bed combines the finest natural cushioning with an internal, zoned, pressure-point support system for proper back support and extended durability. We even make a new Vegan Mattress made without wool. The Avocado Green Mattress features an 8-inch support unit comprised of 756 - 1,414 individually-tuned support coils to ensure proper spinal alignment and balance. These fabric-encased innersprings (made from recycled steel) are arranged in 3 distinct zones with a reinforced perimeter to float independently and reduce motion transfer. This premium, highly durable system allows for optimal and individualized ergonomic and joint support, while at the same time, better contouring to your body shape and evenly distributing weight. Better still, the reinforced perimeter provides critical edge support to eliminate the "roll-off" feeling near the edge.

Avocado Green

How Are the Layers of Your Avocado Green Mattress Topper Constructed?

The Avocado Green Organic Latex Mattress Topper, which is GREENGUARD Gold Certified®, is made up of 2 inches of GOLS organic certified Dunlop latex. It's covered with organic cotton ticking and organic wool (or organic cotton for the vegan option), and is available in plush or firm options.

Can I Use an Electric Heating Mattress Pad?

Yes, you can use a heating pad with your Avocado Mattress at a low to moderate setting.
