The mattress is made of latex foam, a naturally breathable, open-celled material, so it doesn't require a slatted foundation for cooling. However, a slatted base can improve breathability and reduce the chances of mold on the mattress cover in high-humidity environments.
How does organic Dunlop differ from natural Dunlop?
Organic Dunlop latex and 100% natural Dunlop latex are not significantly different. The organic certification for latex indicates that the production process uses less water and power, has a smaller carbon footprint, and has a lower environmental impact. This certification ensures that the latex is better for the environment and the workers, but the final product is the same whether the latex is 100% natural or organic.
