Firmness info	The Select Sleep Organic can be customized to match your firmness preference, with each layer available in 100% Natural Dunlop or 100% Natural Talalay latex in soft, medium, firm or extra firm. Over the life of your mattress, you can rearrange or replace these layers in your own home to achieve a different firmness, based on your changing needs. Sleeping with a partner? Say goodbye to compromise and get the firmness you both need. Any layer of the Select Sleep Organic King or Queen sizes can be split down the middle, creating one mattress with two different comfort levels.	It rates as a medium-firm mattress, but really combines the best of both firm and soft products. It's the perfect balance of comfort and support. Our provides superior pressure relief, with little bounce, and zero motion transfer. Essentially you feel like you're floating on a cloud. Unlike other memory foam mattresses, we sped up our foam's response rate so that you don't sink too far down into the core, and so you don't feel stuck in the foam.

Comfort	The wool in our organic cotton cover is premium Eco Wool, sourced from the Woolgatherer Carding Mill. Woolgatherer follows wool through every stage from the pastures to the finished product. Woolgatherer staff is meticulous about ensuring their wool supplier flocks are managed in a humane, chemical-free, and environmentally safe manner. Latex is naturally hypo-allergenic. Its anti-microbial properties inhibit dust mites, mold, and mildew from thriving. Because latex is a product of pin core construction with thousands of tiny air channels that provide natural ventilation. Mildew, staphylococcus and other bacteria can't live in latex foam, making it the perfect choice for allergy sufferers and anyone wanting to breathe, fresh clean air while they sleep. It keeps you warm in the winter and cooler in the Labor Day.	Four layers of high-density memory foam, refined through two years of R&D and 27 rounds of prototyping to provide the perfect balance of comfort, support, responsiveness, and breathability. Zero motion transfer. To keep our mattress from overheating, we developed an extraordinary new foam called 3BELOW. It's a fully breathable, open-cell material, infused with heat-conductive gel particles. That means it actually draws heat from your body and disperses it throughout the mattress so it escapes more quickly. As a result, the W1.27 sleeps three degrees cooler than other foam mattresses, right in the sweet spot for deep, uninterrupted sleep.
Support	Our Select Sleep latex mattress conforms perfectly to your body's contours and evenly supports the spine to provide optimal orthopedic support. We offer a variety of latex types including the world's finest latex process - Talalay. Latex instantly reacts and adjusts to changes in position giving the body maximum comfort and back support. Its unique ability to conform to your body alleviates areas of high pressure that causes you to toss and turn at night. Pressure Equalization Latex relieves pressure that causes you to toss and turn at night. The ability of latex to gently support and conform to your body alleviates pressure points and dramatically reduces tossing and turning. The latex mattress itself reduces pressure areas by as much as 90%, thus ensuring a sound and comfortable sleep.	Our four-layer weightless foam system combines a plush top layer with increasingly firmer base layers, to deliver an optimal combination of comfort and support. We refined our mattress through 27 rounds of testing, optimizing for pressure-relief at all five key pressure points. We tested a range of body types and sizes, ensuring that the W1.27 would be supremely comfortable for almost all people, while still providing full body support. The core of our W1.27 is 100% viscoelastic memory foam. We tested every possible material, including memory foam, latex foam, coils, coil / foam hybrids, hand-rolled cotton, horsehair, and found that memory foam gives us the greatest precision in crafting a truly great product. We've made the best memory foam mattress on the market. The W1.27 achieves unparalleled balance, meaning that it's supremely comfortable to lay on, but also provides better body support than other products.

FAQs

Sleep EZ Organic Latex

Do we carry any blended or man-made latex?

No, all of the latex we carry is made from 100% natural rubber from a rubber tree. The final product is 98% pure rubber, with the remaining 2% consisting of natural fatty acids, natural soaps, and natural reinforcing agents needed for manufacturing.

Can I wash the cover?

The cover is removable but not washable. It is recommended to spot-clean the cover with a mild detergent and a brush, then place the cover in the sun for disinfection. The cover cannot be machine washed, dry-cleaned, or hand-cleaned in the bathtub as it will shrink.

What type of fire barrier is in the mattress?

No chemical flame retardants are added or used in the mattress. The cotton and wool cover contains 1" of wool that acts as the natural fire barrier. This wool is also excellent at temperature regulation and wicking away moisture.
