| Comfort | Breathable, responsive foam in the top Comfort layer will perfectly hug your body and is designed to work with the Quick Response memory foam layer and Relief layer to keep your spine aligned all night, so you wake up refreshed and pain-free. Breathable poly-blend cover Hole-punched comfort layer for airflow Pocket spring coils for less heat retention Merino wool for moisture-wicking heat dissipation. | Latex is naturally hypo-allergenic. Its anti-microbial properties inhibit dust mites, mold, and mildew from thriving. Because latex is a product of pin core construction with thousands of tiny air channels that provide natural ventilation. Mildew, staphylococcus and other bacteria can't live in latex foam, making it the perfect choice for allergy sufferers and anyone wanting to breathe, fresh clean air while they sleep. It keeps you warm in the winter and cooler in the Labor Day. The natural properties of latex layers allow air to flow naturally in the mattress. Latex whisks away moisture and regulates your temperature throughout the night, without trapping heat like traditional mattresses. Joma Wool is a high-quality natural fiber, grown in New Zealand and used worldwide by some of the most esteemed mattress and bedding manufacturers. Using wool provides better airflow, efficiently wicks away moisture, and serves as a natural fire barrier for the mattress. Wool is a natural solution, unlike other fire retardant chemicals used in many mattresses. |
| Support | Get support like you've never experienced with the Relief layer. Its micro-pocket spring and exclusive foam combination give your hips and shoulders the extra support they need, while the Quick Response layer, with 1,000+ pocket springs, provides motion isolation and unparalleled support and stability. The Legend offers our most advanced support, with an added layer of micro-pocket springs. This extra layer of micro-pocket springs provides unparalleled support for your hips and shoulders for an elevated, one-of-a-kind sleeping experience. Plus you'll still get the responsive comfort layer and contouring memory foam available in the Original and Hybrid models, as well as the reactive pocket spring base in the Hybrid. | Latex relieves pressure that causes you to toss and turn at night. The ability of latex to gently support and conform to your body alleviates pressure points and dramatically reduces tossing and turning. The latex mattress itself reduces pressure areas by as much as 90%, thus ensuring a sound and comfortable sleep. Hidden inside latex is the secret to its adaptability and comfort. The natural and unique cell structure of the material allows latex to be flexible and envelop your body, while still supporting your body. The structure also provides relief for primary pressure points throughout the night. Dunlop latex provides essential support and often is firmer than Talalay latex. As a newer technology, Talalay latex provides a softer yet more consistent feel. For decades, customers have recognized that combining Dunlop base layers and a Talalay top layer provides the support most people need. |

FAQs
Leesa Legend
Who manufactures the Legend mattress?
The Legend mattress is produced by Leesa, a company known for its commitment to social missions and eco-friendly practices. The mattress is CertiPUR-U.S. certified and made from recycled materials.
Are hybrid mattresses suitable for side sleepers?
Yes, hybrid mattresses can offer an ideal balance between the cushioning of memory foam and the support of traditional springs. This makes them a great choice for side sleepers who need targeted support for their hips and shoulders while maintaining spinal alignment.
What is the average cost of hybrid mattresses?
The cost of a hybrid mattress can vary widely due to their complex design and quality materials. On average, a Queen size hybrid mattress can range between $1,200 and $2,000. Discounts, promotions, and sales can help lower the cost.
Sleep EZ Natural Latex
With this mattress, what kind of base may I use?
You can use any strong and solid base, including adjustable bases. However, you should avoid slatted foundations with gaps of more than 3" and box springs with actual springs. The mattress is made of latex foam, a naturally breathable, open-celled material, so it doesn't require a slatted foundation for cooling. However, a slatted base can improve breathability and reduce the chances of mold on the mattress cover in high-humidity environments.
How does organic Dunlop differ from natural Dunlop?
Organic Dunlop latex and 100% natural Dunlop latex are not significantly different. The organic certification for latex indicates that the production process uses less water and power, has a smaller carbon footprint, and has a lower environmental impact. This certification ensures that the latex is better for the environment and the workers, but the final product is the same whether the latex is 100% natural or organic. This is why there is no organic Talalay available, as the Talalay process is more complex, uses more water and electricity, and cannot meet the organic latex certification's reduced water and electricity usage requirements.
Is the latex blended or does it contain any man-made rubber?
All of the latex sold by us is made from 100% natural rubber harvested from a rubber tree. The final product is 98% pure rubber, with the remaining 2% consisting of natural fatty acids, natural soaps, and natural reinforcing agents needed for manufacturing.
