The Natural Escape is a medium-firm mattress. Which is suited for all body types, as well as stomach, back and side sleepers.

It rates as a medium-firm mattress, but really combines the best of both firm and soft products. It's the perfect balance of comfort and support. Our provides superior pressure relief, with little bounce, and zero motion transfer. Essentially you feel like you're floating on a cloud. Unlike other memory foam mattresses, we sped up our foam's response rate so that you don't sink too far down into the core, and so you don't feel stuck in the foam.

The GOTS-certified organic wool batting is sourced from sheep that are allowed to graze freely in organic pastures. The wool acts as the only flame retardant, and is hypoallergenic, temperature regulating, and 100% biodegradable. Innerspring mattresses sleep up to 30% cooler than foam mattresses. The cell structure of latex makes your mattress breathable, which means you will be cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Latex is also ideal for allergy sufferers. It is naturally hypoallergenic, dust mite resistant, and antimicrobial, which inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, and mildew. With no worries about chemicals, and no tossing and turning, you will sleep more deeply and awaken ready for a new day.

Four layers of high-density memory foam, refined through two years of R&D and 27 rounds of prototyping to provide the perfect balance of comfort, support, responsiveness, and breathability. Zero motion transfer. To keep our mattress from overheating, we developed an extraordinary new foam called 3BELOW. It's a fully breathable, open-cell material, infused with heat-conductive gel particles. That means it actually draws heat from your body and disperses it throughout the mattress so it escapes more quickly. As a result, the W1.27 sleeps three degrees cooler than other foam mattresses, right in the sweet spot for deep, uninterrupted sleep.

Support

The Natural Escape is handcrafted with a responsive zoned pocketed coil spring system with enhanced lumbar support and a supportive edge. Tighter coils along the edges of the mattress provide a firmer seating edge. With proper support across the entire mattress you can sleep from edge to edge and top to bottom. Steel springs will last up to 4 times longer than a foam support edge. Individual coils react to body shape and weight to keep pressure off your bones and joints. The coils across the center third of the mattress have a heavier gauge wire and are nested closer together providing additional firmness to hold up the heaviest part of your body and properly align your spine. 13.5 gauge coils at the perimeter for a firmer seating edge, 15.5 gauge coils in the majority of the sleep surface and 14.5 gauge coils throughout the center third of the mattress for improved lumbar support. Each fabric-encased coil moves independently to allow deep sleep even when your partner moves. Latex is supportive and alleviates pressure points that can cause stiffness, pain, tossing and turning.

Our four-layer weightless foam system combines a plush top layer with increasingly firmer base layers, to deliver an optimal combination of comfort and support. We refined our mattress through 27 rounds of testing, optimizing for pressure-relief at all five key pressure points. We tested a range of body types and sizes, ensuring that the W1.27 would be supremely comfortable for almost all people, while still providing full body support. The core of our W1.27 is 100% viscoelastic memory foam. We tested every possible material, including memory foam, latex foam, coils, coil / foam hybrids, hand-rolled cotton, horsehair, and found that memory foam gives us the greatest precision in crafting a truly great product. We've made the best memory foam mattress on the market. The W1.27 achieves unparalleled balance, meaning that it's supremely comfortable to lay on, but also provides better body support than other products.

After we receive your order, we typically begin building your mattress the next day. We offer free shipping via FedEx to the contiguous United States .Our mattresses are made-to-order one at a time in our family's factory. We then compress, roll and box each mattress and ship via FedEx to your door in two weeks or less.

We ship anywhere in the United States and Canada. We offer two options for mattress deliveries - both 100% free. First, we can provide full in-home installation. This typically takes 4-9 business days. Alternatively, if you want your mattress faster, we can ship directly to your door, in 2-7 business days.
