Cover	The Select Sleep Natural has a cotton cover to provide a soft, breathable surface for your comfort. Cotton also provides just enough stretch so that your mattress is easy to assemble and that the cover stays taught. Polyester is never used in our covers. Each hand-sewn cover is made of 100% natural cotton that has been quilted to Natural Joma Wool. The 360° zipper makes assembly a breeze and allows you to replace and rearrange layers as needed, as well as remove completely for spot cleaning and airing out. Replacement covers are available.	Our plush Tuft & Needle Original Mattress cover is made with a blend of micro polyamide and polyester. It has a lofty, soft feel which is very pleasant to the touch. Micro Polyamide is commonly used in clothing for men, women, and children as an alternative to cotton that dries 6-8 times faster, helping you sleep cooler, longer. With durability in mind, we've designed a fabric that will last. Our mattress cover fabric is pilling-and tearing-resistant. You can use any strong and solid base, including adjustable bases. However, you should avoid slatted foundations with gaps of more than 3" and box springs with actual springs. The mattress is made of latex foam, a naturally breathable, open-celled material, so it doesn't require a slatted foundation for cooling. However, a slatted base can improve breathability and reduce the chances of mold on the mattress cover in high-humidity environments.

How does organic Dunlop differ from natural Dunlop?

Organic Dunlop latex and 100% natural Dunlop latex are not significantly different. The organic certification for latex indicates that the production process uses less water and power, has a smaller carbon footprint, and has a lower environmental impact. This certification ensures that the latex is better for the environment and the workers, but the final product is the same whether the latex is 100% natural or organic. This is why there is no organic Talalay available, as the Talalay process is more complex, uses more water and electricity, and cannot meet the organic latex certification's reduced water and electricity usage requirements.
