Cover	For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a breathable organic cotton / poly-blend 4-way stretch-knit (rather than a traditional weave) in a soft, natural color, and GOTS-certified by our supplier. Sourced from the United States, this durable textile is button-tufted by hand with wool yarn rosettes, which secure the cotton ticking and internal mattress layers firmly in place without the use of chemical adhesives. We also use hand-stitched tape edges (double stitched) and heavy-duty upholstered handles to complete the package.	The Select Sleep Organic has an organic cotton cover to provide a soft, breathable surface for your comfort. Cotton also provides just enough stretch so that your mattress is easy to assemble and that the cover stays taught. Polyester is never used in our covers. Do we carry any blended or man-made latex?

No, all of the latex we carry is made from 100% natural rubber from a rubber tree. The final product is 98% pure rubber, with the remaining 2% consisting of natural fatty acids, natural soaps, and natural reinforcing agents needed for manufacturing.

Can I wash the cover?

The cover is removable but not washable. It is recommended to spot-clean the cover with a mild detergent and a brush, then place the cover in the sun for disinfection. The cover cannot be machine washed, dry-cleaned, or hand-cleaned in the bathtub as it will shrink.

What type of fire barrier is in the mattress?
